Team

Robert has 22 years of private equity and leverage finance experience and is a member of the investment committee. He joined 17Capital in 2010, became Partner in 2014 and Managing Partner in 2021. In 2016 Robert opened 17Capital’s flagship office in New York, where he is now based, building out our presence in the US.

Prior to joining 17Capital, Robert spent two years as a Senior Associate with Merrill Lynch, where he was part of the Leveraged Finance team. He previously held positions at Lloyds Banking Group and Ashurst Morris Crisp. Robert holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Edinburgh, and a Masters in Law and International Management from HEC in Paris.
