Epic partnership

Empowering the next generation

17Capital’s long-standing partnership with Epic demonstrates our commitment to improve the lives of disadvantaged youths around the world.

Founded in 2014, the global charity aims to empower and protect children, young people and the environment.

We provide pro bono office space, sponsor their events and were the first private equity fund to sign the ‘EPIC Sharing Pledge’, donating 1% of carried interest from Fund 4 and all subsequent funds.

Our collaborations with Epic and non-profits

Think forward

Since 2021 we have been involved in Epic’s ThinkForward programme, participating in mentoring programmes with young people based in the UK. Each year employees from the firm mentor students for six months to help get them ready for employment or further education.

Sport dans le Ville

Founded in 1998, Sport dans la Ville is France’s leading nonprofit serving youths from diverse, low-income neighbourhoods through sports and job-readiness training. Through free football/soccer and basketball programmes, they encourage the values of self-confidence, teamwork, dedication and hard work, leading 12,000 young people on the path toward a brighter future by re-establishing equal opportunities.
