17Capital Strengthens Leadership with Key Hires in North America and Firmwide Promotions

Firm appoints Ari Landsberg as Managing Director, Investments and Steve Kosoris as Director, Investor Relations in North America

Series of promotions includes Christopher Hirschman, Justinas Tuminauskas and George Lee to Director, and Jack Matthew to Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel

NEW YORK and LONDON – January 29, 2025 – 17Capital, a private credit manager specializing in NAV finance for the private equity industry, today announced the appointments of Aryeh (“Ari”) Landsberg as Managing Director, Investments, North America, and Stephen (“Steve”) Kosoris, as Director, Investor Relations, North America. This news follows strong deployment of capital from 17Capital, reporting more than $2billion across 14 investments in 2024. In their respective positions, Ari will play a key role in sourcing, underwriting and executing investments, and Steve will support the growth of 17Capital’s investor relationships in the U.S., leveraging their expertise to help drive the firm’s strategic global growth.

Ari will join 17Capital’s New York office and focus on expanding 17Capital’s investment opportunities in North America. He brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services, most recently from Barclays, where he spent 14 years on the Fund Finance Structuring team originating and structuring financing transactions across private equity, hedge funds and alternative asset portfolios.

Based in Austin, Texas, Steve will focus on supporting and building investor relationships across the Midwest region of the U.S. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, including most recently at Russell Investments and Dimensional Fund Advisors.

Accompanying this news, 17Capital is also pleased to announce several promotions across its global Investment, Investor Relations and Legal & Compliance teams, following another strong year for the firm.

Investment Team

Promotions on the Investment team include Christopher Hirschman and Justinas Tuminauskas to Director, Roxane d’Alès, Jovanni Nunez, and Thomas Edwards to Vice President and Eline de Nil and Shamini Wadhwani to Associate.

Investor Relations Team

There are also several promotions within the Investor Relations team, including George Lee to Director, Isabelle Richards and Dorian Vogt to Vice President, and Edward Bagnall and Mac Webster to Associate.

Legal & Compliance

On the Legal & Compliance team, Jack Matthew has been promoted to Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel.
