17Capital continues expansion of US Investment team

Richard Golaszewski joins as an Investment Director from Nomura Securities

17Capital is pleased to announce that Richard Golaszewski has joined as a Director in our Investment team. Based in our New York office, Richard will support the continued growth of our investment activity in North America.

Prior to joining 17Capital, Richard was an Executive Director in the Equity & Fund Investment Solutions group at Nomura Securities. Richard was a founding member of the team and was responsible for originating and structuring asset-based financing transactions across alternative asset classes, specializing in private equity portfolios and single private equity funds.

Prior to Nomura Securities, Richard was at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.

Richard is also a Board Member of the Fiver Children’s Foundation, a New York based charity supporting children from underserved communities.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from the American University in Washington D.C. and is a CFA Charterholder.

Richard joins a 19-strong team of investment professionals, including 4 Partners, based across London and New York. 17Capital opened its New York office in 2016 to build on the firms’ successful investment activity in North America. Led by Partner, Robert de Corainville the team has grown to 9 people.

Richard’s appointment follows the recent hiring of Anthony Mckay, Stephen Quinn, David Wilson, Emad Shahin and Jonathan Goldberg.
