Rolf Christof Dienst

Mr Dienst is a member of the Supervisory Board. He has more than 40 years of experience in venture capital and company development throughout Europe.

In 1991, he founded Wellington, a European venture capital firm with offices in Munich, London and Zurich and over €800 million under management. The firm invests in information technology, clean technology and life sciences with dedicated funds.

In 1983, he co-founded TVM Capital in Munich together with TA Associates and Siemens AG as part of the venture capital activities of Matuschka Group. He launched Matuschka Group in 1968 and built it into a 350-person organisation by 1989, before selling his stake in the business. He was the co-founder of the call centre Tellcare in 1993. Having reached a workforce of 320 people, Tellcare was sold to Sykes Entreprise in 1997. He also co-founded of ImmobilienScout, which was sold to Deutsche Telekom for €500 million.

Mr Dienst has been a board member of the German PE/VC association since 2005 and acted as its Chairman between 2007 and 2009.
